How this site handles data

What this site collects

Almost nothing. This site sets no cookies and holds nothing that identifies you. It does count what pages are read and what buttons are pressed, in a form that cannot be traced back to a person. Your details reach us in one way: because you sent them, in a form or in a message.

What the site does not do

This is a set of static pages. There is no user account, no login, and no database sitting behind it holding visitors.

One script runs beyond the site’s own: the measurement script described below, served from this same domain. The fonts are served from this site rather than from a font service, and no page carries an embedded map.

Cookies
The site sets none.
Analytics
Counts of pages and clicks, with no cookie and no identifier. See below.
Tracking pixels
None on any page, and no advertising retargeting.
Third-party scripts
None. Fonts, maps and measurement are all served from this domain.
Accounts
No login and no database, so there is no profile of you to hold.

What is counted

Blackhorse measures how the site is used, so that the pages people actually read can be made better. What is recorded is the page address, the language, the width of the window, the site you arrived from if it was not this one, and the action taken: a WhatsApp button pressed and which part of the page it sat in, a phone number tapped, a listing copied, a property saved, a shortlist sent, a filter used, a form sent.

No cookie is set and no identifier of any kind is stored, on your device or ours. Two visits cannot be recognised as the same person, and nothing here can follow you to another website. A listing reference is recorded because it says which property drew interest; it says nothing about who was reading.

The measurement runs on Vercel Web Analytics. Vercel hosts this website, so the script and the counts it sends are served from this same domain and no other company sees your visit.

If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, nothing at all is recorded. Both are switches inside the browser, and the site checks them before it counts anything.

Your shortlist stays on your device

Saving a property writes its reference into your own browser's local storage, on your phone or your computer. It is never transmitted anywhere. We cannot see it and we do not know you saved anything.

Clearing your browser data removes it, and it will not follow you to another device.

If you apply for a role

The careers page has no form. You email a CV to careers@blackhorse.properties, so what reaches us is whatever you chose to put in that message and in that document. It is read by the sales manager and the partner and by nobody else. It is used only to decide whether to invite you to a conversation. It is not shared with your current brokerage or with anyone outside the firm, and you can ask for it to be deleted at any time by emailing info@blackhorse.properties.

When you send a form

The contact and valuation forms are the only places you hand us anything. Today they are a hand-off: they open WhatsApp with your message ready, so nothing leaves your phone until you send it. If we ever switch them to send directly, a third-party form service will forward them to us by email. Either way it does not enter a database of ours, because we do not have one. We use what you send only to answer you.

What you typed
Your name, your number or email address, and the message itself.
The page you were on
So the consultant replying knows what you were looking at.
The listing reference
If you started from a property, its reference travels with the message.
Campaign parameters
If you arrived through an ad, those parameters can travel with the form. They tell us which ad brought you here; they say nothing about you.

The WhatsApp buttons

Tapping a WhatsApp button opens WhatsApp with a message already written for you, usually carrying the reference of the property you were reading about. Nothing has been sent at that moment. We do not see the tap and we do not have your number.

If you send the message it reaches a named consultant, and your number reaches us the way it would with any WhatsApp message. If you close the app instead, we never knew you were there.

Server logs

The company that hosts this site keeps ordinary server logs of the requests its machines answer, with the technical detail that normally comes with them. That is true of any website. We do not go through them to work out who has visited.

Who sees your enquiry

Blackhorse, and nobody else. Your details go to the consultant handling your enquiry and to the people at the firm whose work requires them.

We do not sell enquiry details. We do not share them with other agencies or with advertisers, and we do not add anyone to a marketing list because they asked about a property.

Having your details deleted

Email info@blackhorse.properties and ask. Tell us which number or email address to look for, and we will delete what we hold and confirm that it is gone.

The same address covers anything else on this page — what we hold about you, or a correction to it. If how any of this works changes, this page changes with it.
